Meet your hosts
Welcome! We’ve lived in Memphis for over a decade and we really love this city and neighborhood- we actually live just a few blocks away from The Crestmere Estate! We hope you get to experience the depths of inspiration this city has to offer. Memphis is a soulful place with deep history and lots of new growth and energy.
We purchased The Crestmere Estate in February of 2021 and after a whirlwind three-month renovation, we felt more confident than ever that this was a place we wanted to share with people near and far. And that’s when The Crestmere Estate came to life.
We met in college at Mizzou and have enjoyed living in a few cities across the U.S. when Amanda worked as a news producer. We’re grateful to call Memphis home and welcomed our first child, Rudy, in February 2022!
Amanda works as a wedding planner (Amanda Wiig Weddings) and also leads the Brand Team at Make-A-Wish Mid-South. She’s originally from near Denver, Colorado.
Jake has worked for local nonprofits like SOS and MyCityRides. He’s from a small town outside of Omaha, Nebraska.
We both enjoy cooking delicious and unique food, tasting wine, traveling, gardening, reading and walks with our dog, Deuce. We hope you see many of our own hobbies and passions reflected in The Crestmere Estate. And more than anything, we hope you have a wonderful stay!
